After an exciting round of trips to Christchurch this month we are delighted to welcome new customers to the FIELDFIX family. More and more we’re hearing how we are really good at getting the right information, to the right people, from anywhere, any time, with the emphasis always on flexibility for our customers and the ability to customise any mobile form fast! In the latest visits it was rewarding to see both old and new customers alike making the most this flexibility by utilising our FIELDFIX Custom Fields feature and adapting the FIELDFIX mobile forms to suit their business needs, both for the Agricultural Spraying and Asphalt Industries.
With more trips planned next month, it’s great to see FIELDFIX Job Management appealing to a diverse range of businesses from civil and construction to energy and many more. We are always pleased to gain first hand feedback from the people who use our software and the responses continue to be very encouraging. Above all, it’s good to know that our founding philosophy and vision for FIELDFIX job software is hitting the mark. I guess it’s fair to say Peter Cooper, GM and co-founder of FIELDFIX with over 20 years’ experience in the civil, construction and utilities contracting industry really did know what he was talking about when he said the market was needing:

“People who designed this system, don’t actually use it” – Just the other day whilst in the bank I heard this very line and it got me thinking just how often you hear people around you saying this about their business software when they are struggling to get their daily job done and their “specifically designed” system just isn’t playing ball!

After trialling it in action at the coalface the guys in the field gave GREEN the big thumbs up for being the most practical colour for visibility that worked in all weather conditions. When the hot sun was beating down on the devices, or the skies were on downpour mode, the green screen remained easy to view and allowed the guys to keep working smart in the field.

New customers will benefit from our intuitive, step by step guided tour with easy to view pop up help boxes that take you through every screen, ensuring your staff are up and running in no time at all, just the way we like it!
So whilst FIELDFIX is still very much about Software as a Service with hands-on training and personal customer support whenever you need it, our recent partnership with Maestrano and expansion into overseas markets provided the inspiration to extend our level of existing online customer support even further.
